The FAT remains as it was

In the previous building, in Den Bosch, there was a test room. However, this was small and full of machines. With the construction of our building in Nieuwkuijk, we chose at the time to first put the accent on the execution of orders and the construction of modules. As soon as these departments were running optimally, it was time for phase 2: the innovative side of Sleegers Technique. Gradually the idea was born, and the Sleegers Experience Center came into being. And with it a large modern test space in which we have plenty of room for the SAT (Site Acceptance Test, see previous blog).

The FAT remains as it was

When the SAT is completed and the production line is running completely according to the client's wishes, the machines are packed and transported to the client's factory. There, the line is installed as it was constructed in the Experience Center. After the production line has been up and running for a month, the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) takes place. This test will determine whether everything works as promised and agreed. Any final adjustments are then made before the project is completed. The production line has already been running at full capacity in the Experience Center. And the engineers involved have optimally tuned all the machines to each other, so that the highest possible production capacity is achieved. As a result, the FAT usually runs smoothly.

In the next blog I will explain what the STAT is. (Tip of the hat: the Sleegers special.)

Watch the livestream of the Experience Center here, in which all of the details have been clearly visualized.
