The VI-11 and VI-19 underleaver

When you lay slices of thin meat or slices of cheese on top of each other, it is difficult to pick up 1 slice without tearing. By placing papers or plastic between the slices, called underleafing, you solve this problem. The same applies to hamburgers. By placing a piece of paper under each hamburger, you can stack them. Then the hamburgers are easier to pick up again without tearing. In the meantime, many fresh products are packaged with a sheet of paper or plastic. That sounds very easy, but it took us many headaches, challenges and test runs before the VI-11 was a fact. A machine that has put Sleegers on the map worldwide.

Combining functions

In fact, there are two underleavers, which are the VI-11 and the VI-19. The VI-11 is an all-round machine that is the perfect solution for a variety of products, from burgers to slices of cheese or meat products and marinated products. Everything is quickly and neatly packed with a thin sheet of paper or plastic.

With the VI-19 a stacking function has been added. This addition ensures that the products are stacked straight or in rows. These machines are real runners. Every production line we build includes one of these 2 modules.
